09.00-10.30 - A review of power measurement technology for improving performance monitoring
- Reporting on PUE requires a measurement of the IT power load. There are several options on where this can be measured. Raritan will review the options and discuss power measurements, accuracy, and applicability.
- Intelligent Rack Power Strips (iPDUs) are becoming more common. Raritan will review the selection and specification of iPDUs ensuring reliability and maintainability as well as measurements that are applicable to your needs

Seminar 2: Managing Data Centre Assets, Temperature & Humidity to Best Practice for the EU Code of Conduct
11.00-12.30 - An opportunity to understand latest Best Practise in space and cooling management
- EU CoC participation has Best Practices which are expected to be applied to all existing IT, Mechanical and Electrical equipment within the data centre. This includes a requirement to review and where possible raise the target IT equipment intake air temperatures in line with latest ASHRAE guidelines. This is listed in the EU CoC as potentially delivering a high value return (level 4 of 5)
- Raritan will present methods for reviewing intake air temperatures against ASHRAE guidelines and present the latest technologies for increasing data collection points using wireless data communications
